This class is an intermediate level class and is best for clients who have consistently practiced Pilates. It is important for clients to have a good understanding of the functionality of the equipment (Reformer, Tower and Chair) and be able to apply mind-body awareness in relation to the equipment. Pilates sculpts a fun and challenging class that incorporates free weights with the traditional pilates moves on the equipment and on the floor. The goal is to maximize the effort and get the muscle burning.The instructor also uses props like stability balls, discs, resistance bands, ankle weights and fitness circles!
It is important for all clients to listen to their bodies and know when to take breaks and/or stop.
